Drop a map pin to share your location
Dropping a pin is a great way to share a map to your location. Instead of relying on a street address address, latitude and longitude coordinates are accurate and ubiquitous. The iOS maps app and Google Maps both support this.
But what if you could share a quick photo of your location to help navigate the final distance?
Geospike takes the idea of sharing a pin-drop and turbocharges it with photos. Sometimes sharing both the location pin and photos is better than just the location pin alone. The extra context can help navigate the final distance.
How to do it:
1/ Tap the new spike button. This will capture your current location automatically. If you need, you can tap the map and manually drop a pin to move it.
2/ Take a photo
3/ Tap next
4/ Tap the share button
5/ Share in your favorite app
